About this item

  • Germinates best when soil is around 75 degrees. Plant 3 seeds per plant 18-24" apart and cover with 1/4" soil. Keep soil moist, but not waterlogged, until seedlings are established. Germination takes 2-3 weeks, so please give your seeds the attention they need to grow. Some people report heads taking 6 months or longer to develop, so patience is the name of the game.
  • Crunchier than your average cauliflower, with a nuttier milder taste, this plant will taste great raw or cooked and will hold its shape too!
  • Reaches a maximum height of 24 inches. Thrives in full sunlight and is most successful when planted during spring or autumn.
  • Whoa, it looks like you're growing a fractal highlighter! These highlighter green (chartreuse if you want to get technical) plants have a unique pattern, and when you look closer you can see the pattern repeated again and again as it gets smaller. Because of this self-repeating pattern, the number of spirals will be a Fibonacci number. Who thought math could be delicious?
